The FCA and Practitioner Panel
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is responsible for regulating the financial services industry in the UK. Their aim is to protect consumers, ensure the industry remains stable and promote healthy competition between financial services providers.
The Panel's key function is to represent the interests of practitioners (i.e. businesses regulated by the FCA), and to provide input to the FCA from the industry in order to help it in meeting its statutory and operational objectives in an effective manner.
Panel members are formally appointed by the FCA Board from across the different sectors of the financial services industry in the UK. For more information, visit: https://www.fca-pp.org.uk/.
